First, we want to be very clear that Flom Designs And Photography is not closing, but we are moving the business from our studio to our home. We have decided that we would like to embrace a simpler and less taxing way of running our business. We decided this January that we would say goodbye to the studio space and get back to doing photography like we did in the beginning. At the end of June, we will be leaving the studio space at 316 E. Howard Street. This decision was hard for us, we have so many great memories of meeting so many families and friends in that space. Besides your families, it also was a place we spent a lot of time with our family. The next chapter for us hopefully includes many of our clients and new clients. Our goal is to get out to the people not just in Hibbing but throughout the area, state, country and yes the world.
We love and will continue to shoot family, newborn, senior, sports, weddings, boudoir and events. We are excited. Change is exactly that, change! So we move forward like we always do, together and knowing God has plans for us greater than our own plans.
We are going to continue to be a source of support for many organizations, groups and people in this community. We are also working on our plans to make sure our body of work is preserved somewhere for future generations. We want your photos to be available long after we have left.
We want to say thank you to a lot of people for helping us, guiding us and reminding us. We get reminded daily that being happy really is a choice. Many talented artists and business people have been great guides in our journey. You might have heard you get more out of helping others than the person you are helping, and we know that is true.
We will continue to invest, believe and support the people of Hibbing. We chose Hibbing over 20 years ago, and everyday we have felt the warmth from a town and generations of people made to work hard. We truly are lucky to call this place home!
