my name is emily law, i am an on location photographer in northern minnesota. i would love to meet you outside at a park, or come to your house to capture you. i’ve always loved having a camera in my hands. trying to capture that moment in time, that will never occur again. my three boys have given me a lot of great experience, they are my passion, i love capturing their inner spirit. i use my artistic vision to capture the essence of the child, individual, family that is being photographed, i strive to create beautiful images that come from the heart. i find the most rewarding part is getting to know the child/family that i’m capturing. each person is so different, and i love trying to catch that and make it a everlasting memory. i love to capture your child’s natural expression, i love to use natural light, so I will come to your home or meet you at your favorite park or beach, so you and your child will feel comfortable and be themselves, we might even need to go take a walk with out mom or dad, it’s amazing what I learn on those little walks. i’d much rather capture the moment rather than make them pose. thank you for getting to know me, please e-mail me if you’d like to book a session.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY BOYS
My husband John and I are blessed to have three wonderful boys. Holden, our oldest is 26, he’s currently working at University of Wisconson- Superior as their Marketing and Athletic Photographer. Leslie, our middle son is 24, a 2019 HHS graduate, he loves gaming, and has a compassionate heart for so many, he gives some of thee Best Hugs. Harrison our youngest son, is 21 and currently a student at UWS and will be a Senior in the Fall, his passion is soccer and everything about it, ask him a question about soccer, he’ll know the answer, he recently has found a love in Graphic Design.

john is a full-time employee for the state of minnesota, he shoots weekends and evenings with me or on his own. He has idea’s after idea’s brewing in his head at all times, and is always thinking of others, before himself, a quality that i admire the most.
